Director: Nemanja Vojinović, SRB/ SLO 2023, 84 min.
On the outskirts of Belgrade lies one of the largest landfills in Europe. Once an archaeological site from the European Neolithic period, this toxic, fire-ridden site is now the workplace of people who try to make a living from what is thrown away: plastic bottles, for which there is still a market as recycled material. The documentary, peppered with dystopian images, observes the daily work of the group of men, uncovers their hierarchy and social contradictions and finds poetry where you least expect it.
