⬤Club–72: Joost & Timme

Timme first took to the stage with his guitar at the age of 12. A street music tour through the south of Germany was not only the starting signal for Timme's solo project, it also showed his passion for honest, acoustic music - "being on the road inspired me to create something new". The musician from Stuttgart has already celebrated successes such as a radio interview and subsequent unplugged session on SWR1 Baden-Württemberg, plays on BigFM and SWR3, TV reports on SWR television and placements in official Spotify playlists. Timme stands for blunt, honest lyrics. Embedded in rhythmically considered and organically produced arrangements.
Joost is an indie rock/pop artist from Stuttgart who tells stories from his life. Between a nostalgic indie sound and distorted electric guitars, it's about self-discovery, interpersonal struggles and the feeling of being restless and yet standing still at the same time. Sometimes loud and rousing, sometimes quiet and thoughtful. He combines driving indie rock with pop and electro elements. Distorted guitars, atmospheric synths and a distinctive voice meet honest, everyday lyrics. Inspired by artists such as Dominik Hartz, Gast, Blumengarten and Olli Schulz, he develops his own unmistakable sound - sometimes euphoric, sometimes melancholy, but always with genuine emotion.

Club 72 is a joint project between the Merlin cultural center and the Popbüro Region Stuttgart. Every second Thursday of the month, newcomer bands from the region are presented as part of this series of events. Club 72 offers tomorrow's acts a stage today.
