The comics and beer talk from Stuttgart

The drinking and pop culture talk "Comics & Beer" is back at the Merlin - due to internal redistribution, Comics & Beer could be included in the Merlin program again!
The "Comicianische Quartett" around presenter Steffen Volkmer has been talking about comics and beer for around 8 years. The Monday latenight show now has a cult following and a dedicated fan base.
With nerdy knowledge and wit, the talkers present four selected comics and discuss their content. They delve deep into the colorful worlds of the so-called 9th art and touch on a wide range of literature, art and pop culture.
Beer tastings will be held between the comic presentations. And at the "Comics & Beer" shows, the audience can, may and should join in the tasting! The beers of the evening are offered as a tasting package. Drinking along is not a must - those who prefer to stay away from the barley juice can indulge in other drinks and will still find the discussions about the brewing delicacies interesting and entertaining. But it's worth tasting the beers, because the show always includes brewing treasures that are anything but ordinary, from breweries whose liquid gold is rarely found here.
The evening will also be accompanied by music - so it will be a show for all the senses! The show on April 20, 2026 is a homecoming, as "Comics & Beer" and the Merlin have formed a close bond over the past two years.
