Scottish composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Liam Shortall, aka corto.alto, has had an incredible few years: his debut album 'Bad With Names' was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize (2024), won 'Best Album' at the Scottish Jazz Awards and was named 'Act Of The Year' at the Jazz FM Awards (2025), with Ezra Collective and Nubya Garcia being the other two nominees. He was also nominated in the Independent Breakthrough category at the Aim Awards 2025.
Now signed to legendary label Ninja Tune, he has just released his new single "DON'T LISTEN", which once again showcases his natural flair for fusing different styles.
