On 25.04.2026, the abyss opens up once again: Cries Of Damnation - Black Metal Night enters its second round. Fyrnask, Arcane Frost and Urisk unleash a night of icy darkness, ritualistic intensity and merciless sonic power.

Fyrnask... was founded in 2008 and evolved into a distinct vision exploring the intersections between black metal, ritualistic soundscapes, drones and ambient textures. What began as a solo project grew into a full-fledged live band in 2014, allowing the dense and immersive atmosphere of the project to unfold on stage. Performances in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland and Norway have established Fyrnask as a unique voice within the European underground scene.

The upcoming fifth album Íosir (Ván Records, 2026) was produced by Fabian Schulz (Sunsetter Recording Studio) and mastered by Victor "V. Santura" Bullok (Triptykon). It continues the project's pursuit of sonic intensity and ritualistic depth, combining raw black metal with expansive ambient passages and unsettling drone layers. On stage, Fyrnask's performances evoke an atmosphere of death, suffering and sacrifice, creating an experience that is both confrontational and transcendent.

Arcane Frost... was founded in 2015 in a classic line-up by three musicians from Lower Saxony, who were already known through underground projects such as Cryptic Brood, Demored and Repulsive Feast. Stylistically, Arcane Frost clearly stands out and exclusively celebrates atmospheric black metal in its purest and most traditional form. And where so many nostalgia acts fail, Arcane Frost succeed in mastering the balancing act between retro rawness and musicality: despite the narrowest genre boundaries, the original, hypnotic songwriting makes the music sound as fresh as some Norwegian old school classics. Underlined by a deliberately raw and minimalist but clearly defined production, Arcane Frost deliver an authentic 90s feel without ever falling into imitation.

Urisk... is a black metal duo from Bonn, founded in 2023 by Benedikt Brixius (instruments, composition) and Marleen Bügener (vocals, lyrical composition). A spontaneous collaboration quickly developed into a focused project, driven by a shared fascination for dark atmospheres, melodic depth and narrative soundscapes.

Musically, Urisk combines raw black metal with progressive and atmospheric elements. Influenced by bands such as Ulver, Urfaust and Ragana, they create multi-layered walls of guitars and varied song structures. Marleen's voice ranges from desperate screams and growls to ghostly clear vocal passages and lends the compositions a haunting emotionality, with each song standing on its own - between personal despair, uprootedness and dark folklore.
