DEMOJACKE (Punk/ Gelnhausen) + FREIDENKERALARM ( Polit-Punk/ Trier) + deine Misere! (Punk/ Bielefeld)

Demo jacket! What's that supposed to mean? The punk project, which was founded by school friends DEniz (bass) MOritz (keys) and Jesse (vocals), went from a mere idea to reality after John (drums) and Wolf (guitar) joined the band and made their stage debut at the end of 2024. Their characteristic mix of punk, hip-hop, ska and synth-punk makes them stand out from the crowd of modern punk bands, and not just because of their name. A bit snotty, rancid and perhaps even absurd, so there's something for (almost) everyone. So you can look forward to an abstruse journey through the mental dissonance of the system, with five people at the wheel who have not yet reached the age of 27.

Freidenkeralarm: The quartet from Trier play straightforward and clearly positioned political punk. Despite the pandemic and line-up changes, the combo was not slowed down and played a tour for their last record "Antifaschistisch, solidarisch, laut!" in 2022. After further band growth, Freidenkeralarm want to set the tone live again this year; among other things, they are working on new material. Always with the hope that if this world cannot be changed from one day to the next, then at least they can give people at their shows the feeling that they are not alone with all their worries, fears and anger.

deine Misere! from Bielefeld and Bochum are stylistically somewhere between German punk and post-punk. Doubting, accusing and angry lyrics about being torn between social and personal misery are mixed with catchy sounds. Thoughts about the self in a broken world push their way through melancholic, melodious rhythms. Since 2021, deine Misere! have been looking for answers to which they only find questions.
