Who takes care of children when they are ill, parents when they get old, the household when everyone comes home tired? Mostly people do it quietly - often women - and almost always without pay. Without this care work, our lives would collapse. And yet it hardly gets any recognition or protection.

The League for Unpaid Work (LUA ) says: This has to change! LUA is the trade union-like representative body for all those who perform unpaid care work. As a care union, it fights for a real change in the system. Care work refers to all unpaid tasks that people do for other people, from housework to family management and relationship management.

In the lecture, JO LÜCKE will show why care work is indispensable and how we can finally give it the appreciation it deserves. Join us, discuss with us and contribute your perspective. For everyone who does care work, benefits from it or simply wants to have their say.
