Tempelhofer Feld hums with activity on warm days, but it's not just us humans who like to cavort here, but also many different species of wild bees.

When we talk about bee mortality, many people think of honey bees first. However, in addition to the honey bee, there are many other bee species that do not live together in colonies and look after their offspring on their own. These wild bees have an important ecological function, especially as pollinators, and surpass the honey bee in their pollination performance.

On a journey of discovery across Tempelhofer Feld, we will learn exciting facts about the solitary relatives of the honey bee and how we can promote the diversity of wild bees.
