Here you can immerse yourself in the history of a place that went from being the scene of the first flight experiments to one of the most modern airports in Europe. As Berlin's air hub, Tempelhof shaped the city and was also the focus of military interests.

Today, the former airfield is a unique open space - a field of experimentation, meeting place and urban natural space all in one. As a place of recreation and encounter that reflects the city's history and changes, you will go on a discovery tour. You will explore the open space of the former airport and today's Tempelhofer Feld by bike and get a little closer to the sky.

Meeting point: Info pavilion, approx. 300m from Columbiadamm, 12101 Berlin(MAPS)
