Cap, a young orphaned fox, makes friends with Capper, a hunting dog of the same age. But the two soon realize that they are enemies by nature. Cap is taken to a game reserve for his protection, where he is supposed to live peacefully and where he meets the vixen Vixie. Meanwhile, Capper is trained to become an excellent hunting dog and goes hunting with his master in the reserve.
