On this evening, we create a portrait of a contradictory man whose emotional life ran the gamut from euphoria to deep melancholy. He accompanied the 20s and 30s with biting commentary like no other. But he also looked ordinary people in the mouth. He accompanied them in poems with his typical Berlin snark. On this evening, Barbara Kleyboldt slips into the role of Kurt Tucholsky, Kaspar Hauser and Theobald Tiger and plays and recites from his prose and poems. Rüdiger Trappmann accompanies her and talks about his life.
