Die Allerletzten

In the organizer's words:

A few years ago, a young couple left the city. They wanted to start afresh in the country, dreaming of finding a place of refuge from a world that seemed increasingly threatening. They had themselves and a dream. An old, run-down house was to become their island, friends and allies were to follow, a new community was to be created.

But soon the first "Reich flag" was hoisted in their German neighborhood and those who had moved out to forget their fears and find a new happiness were now faced with a tough decision. Return? But wouldn't that be a cowardly retreat? Should they perhaps be a little more patient with the brown village community? This question would also be too big for a relationship that has long since forgotten whether their love is enough to carry on. And when did they actually take a wrong turn? No idea!

So they have to remember the good days, their happiness, the betrayal of friends who have long since returned to the deceptive safety of the woken city. In their search for their past, their failure, the couple become dangerously close. And in the end? Will they manage not to fail because of the deceitfulness of our world, because their dreams are too big, because of each other?
