In the organizer's words:

The artistic intervention THE FUTURE IS INDIGENOUS - Amazonian Visions and Struggles at the RJM focuses on indigenous voices that are often overlooked in global climate debates: Indigenous artists, activists and thinkers from the nine countries of the Amazon region contribute their perspectives. The focus is on topics such as climate justice, solidarity economy, art, urban reality, cosmologies and the rights of nature.

The intervention and the accompanying program combine international perspectives with the diversity of urban society in Cologne. It is aimed at children and families, young people, schools, communities, students and all interested parties.
