The 67th edition of our concert series "they just want to play" is about to start.

We are delighted to once again invite three great bands to Gleis 22 🧚⭐️

riot but cute.

The belief in a world in which no one has to be alone, characterized by vulnerability, honesty and solidarity, not just among friends, but as human beings - that's what riot but cute stand for.

Their music combines extremes and makes use of a wide range of emotions. It dazes and entangles, pushes you to the limit and even further, only to catch you at the last moment. With attention to detail, riot but cute. create a space full of vivid moments, dreams, despair and hope.

Silk

Silk sound like they've stumbled straight out of a smoky basement club between London and Brighton - but are actually from Düsseldorf and Cologne. With energetic live shows and an honest attitude, the band have quickly made a name for themselves beyond their home cities. Their sound is characterized by melodic riffs, powerful vocals and driving rhythms, which are somewhere between punk, grunge and alternative rock of the 90s.

Blame Evolution

Energetic, rousing and full of nostalgia - Blame Evolution bring the pop-punk of the 2000s into the present. Inspired by greats such as Avril Lavigne, Blink-182 and Paramore, they combine catchy melodies with powerful riffs and the charismatic voice of their front woman.
