Mozart: Große Messe in c-Moll | Gedenkkonzert des Dresdner Kreuzchores

On February 6, 2027, an extraordinary concert event awaits you in Dresden's Kreuzkirche: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Great Mass in C minor" (KV 427). The unfinished masterpiece, which Mozart created as a private vow for his wife Constanze, is considered his most important sacred creation alongside his Requiem.

The performance combines Baroque splendor in the form of complex double fugues with the emotional tenderness of Viennese Classicism. The highly virtuosic "Et incarnatus est" in particular promises moments of unearthly beauty, while the "Kyrie" and "Gloria" captivate with their dramatic power.
