Experimental Female Choreography Workshop

Technical & improvisational / dynamic & absurd

"Experimental Female Choreography" is a creative movement practice in which I combine dance, choreographic storytelling, commercial and vocal work. Energetic, technical and playful, I have developed the movement concept to bring dance, music and voice together and create a space to unfold one's own artistic expression and bring it into a choreographic context.

After an extensive warm-up, we will go through various improvisation and partnering tasks, use our voice in dance and, after a short choreography, bring all the elements we have learned together in an improvisation round.

The workshop is queer friendly and aims to create a space for self-development, empowerment and community. And to dance from your gut.

Level: from beginner (first dance experience is an advantage) to professional

Tina Streich is a performer, choreographer, social worker and theater maker and works in the independent scene and at theaters in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. After her first theater production in 2024 NOCH ANDERS DURCH HALBE SACHEN, which she staged together in an artists' collective, she worked at the Volksbühne with Constanza Macras for the revival of BACK TO THE PRESENT. In the same year, she worked at the Schauspielhaus in Zurich as a choreographic assistant for a play with children and young people and staged a solo performance FIRST CLASS EXPERIENCE at the Kunsthafen in Cologne in January 2026.

Tina Streich lives in Cologne and Berlin.

Energetic, technical, and playful, I developed this movement concept to bring together dance, music, and voice, and to create a space for exploring and expressing one's own artistic voice within a choreographic context.

After an extensive warm-up, we will move through various improvisation and partnering exercises, use our voices within dance, and-following a short choreography-bring together all learned elements in a final improvisation session.
