FREUDE - "Unter Druck und zwischen Welten" - Album Release Shows 2026

Unter Druck und zwischen Welten" is an album about the in-between: between the cruelties of the world on our screens and the attempt to create order in our own heads. Between despair and hope, excessive demands and new beginnings. FREUDE tell of emotional conflict - and of the fact that you are not alone in this.

FREUDE are Nina, Joschi and Clemens. Originally started as a solo project by Clemens, the longtime friends have been making music together since 2023. After a deal with Sony Music Austria, their debut album "Salz" was released in 2020. Since then, the band has deliberately gone its own, independent way. A new, clear sound was first heard on the EP "Mosaik" - and now finds its musical development on the second album.

FREUDE is the soundtrack for all those who dance between past and future - between melancholy and euphoria, between chaos and clarity. Their music thrives on contrasts: nostalgic yet futuristic, warm yet raw. FREUDE moves between two worlds - and uses them to create their very own, honest Viennese pop with attitude.

The figures also show that FREUDE have hit a nerve: The single "Knutschen" reached over 300,000 streams in five months without playlist support. Songs such as "Bis es endlich wieder Frühling ist", "Trümmer" and "Liebesbriefe wie Kafka" each exceeded the 100,000 stream mark. "Kleopatra" recently even cracked the one million streams mark - completely organically.

FREUDE are now opening a new chapter with "Unter Druck und zwischen Welten". The upcoming release shows will put the album where it belongs: on stage - right in the middle of all those who find themselves between worlds.
