Frieden – Myr – Peace – Salam – Shalom – Spokiy (Lieder und Texte zum Zuhören und Mitsingen)

"The songbook 'Pray for Peace - Suchet den Frieden' invites you to embark on a journey of song: towards a holistic peace, towards shalom, which is more than the absence of war - a state of justice, reconciliation and togetherness." (Dr. Ludwig Spaenle, Commissioner for Anti-Semitism)

Peter F. Schneider, musician and composer from Munich, presents songs from his new songbook - his own as well as collected songs and thus encourages reflection: How can we contribute to shalom, to holistic peace? Where does peace begin? The songs seek an answer in several languages. Inspired by the Psalms and great thinkers and artists such as Maimonides, Yunus Emre, Shalom Ben-Chorin, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Bob Dylan and Leonhard Cohen, they invite us to an open exchange and a search for togetherness.

At 5:30 pm, the traditional Waldramer Advent windows will once again take place in front of the BADEHAUS memorial with a contribution to "Weihnukka".
