When you talk about the origins of the Bavarian rap scene, you can't get past
two names: Grämsn and DJ Spliff. Long before dialect rap conquered the big
festival stages, the two Lower Bavarians laid the foundations for an entire culture.

Together with Monaco F, they formed the legendary band Doppel D around 15 years ago.

Fraenko & Maniac

Behind Fraenko is a singer with a voice that gives you goosebumps - intense, raw and full of honesty. Her profound lyrics meet soulful hip-hop vibes and bass-heavy electronic beats, creating a world of sound that is both touching and captivating. Maniac, producer and rapper, is one of the defining figures of the German hip-hop scene. As "the Bavarian who raps in English", he has made a name for himself with his trademark flow and his Gnackbreaker beats - and has also inspired countless international projects and collaborations.

Six months ago, Maniac found his way to Fraenko and their first song together, "Ego", made big waves shortly afterwards. An epic video, gigs, and more studio sessions followed. Their live show combines funk, soul and modern hip-hop to create a unique vibe.
