Finally, a summit meeting of a special kind. Reinhard Kleist has made music history himself with his internationally successful biographical comics about Johnny Cash, Nick Cave and David Bowie. Most recently, "Low - David Bowie's Berlin Years" (Carlsen) was published. And David Prudhomme from France has found images for an entire musical style, the small-Asian-Greek Rembetiko, in two celebrated albums ("Rembetiko" and "Rembetissa", Reprodukt; translation: Ulrich Pröfrock), which visualize its specific sound so grandiosely that you think you can hear it.
