great OKEH: SHY OF A DOZEN – Konzert

Withgreat OKEH, the musicians Oliver Kuka (guitars) and Elisa Herbig (vocals, cello) have joined forces to form a duo that combines fine songwriting with organic depth of sound. Through their special instrumentation of cello, electric guitar and voice, influences from popular music and classical music merge into independent songs and sound sketches.

Their compositions - mostly written together - are sometimes gentle and sensitive, then again edgy and loud. Now they have found their way onto their first joint album. The album is a meeting of two musical worlds and reflects the search for closeness, resonance and silence.

The concert at Theater Oliv is part of theshy of a dozenrelease series and takes the songs from the album into a new space. After the kick-off in Heidelberg, great OKEH continues the journey and brings the music to the stage in different contexts - close, concentrated and in the midst of life.
