The Groove Ryders - a rousing rock-blues band from Cologne that is becoming increasingly popular. With a good dose of rock, blues, funk and soul, they create a unique sound: Nina Anders on lead vocals, Papo Burgos on guitar and vocals, Dieter Breiing on bass and backing vocals, Michael "Groove" Smith on drums and Jakob Knöchel on keys and organ. They mix classic rock, funk, soul and Texas blues with a modern twist to create their very own groove. Front woman Nina Anders with her emotional performance and powerful, dynamic voice is the perfect complement to the band's sound. Inspirations include Beth Hard, Etta James, Janis Joplin, Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, Freddie King, Robben Ford and other greats of the genre.
