Hanna Fearns is one of the quiet constants of the German indie scene - and this is precisely where her particular strength lies. The Cologne-based songwriter has been consistently developing her sound for decades: between folk, Americana, country and experimental pop, she creates an independent musical language that defies quick categorization. Her smoky, warm, deep voice is the centerpiece - clear, sustained and full of presence. A voice that creates closeness and opens up space in equal measure, somewhere between an intimate club atmosphere and a cinematic soundscape. With her new album "Are You Alright?", Hanna Fearns continues along this path. Big, immediate melodies meet country influences, drones, feedback and subtle shifts in sound. It is an album about empathy, insecurity and the search for support - and at the same time one that provides comfort without imposing itself. At King Georg, she will be performing these songs live on stage for the first time - accompanied by a three-piece band from the Cologne indie scene.
