Harbour Pride 2026: Queer culture meets street art - a new chapter at Hamburg's fish market

The 837th edition of the HarbourGAYbirthday presents itself with new charm

Hamburg, February 2026 - Harbour Pride is returning to Hamburg's Harbour Birthday - bigger, more urban and more visible than ever. With a further developed concept and an area of around 4,000 m² on the fish market core area, AHOI Events GmbH is presenting Harbour Pride 2026 as a modern, artistic Pride area right in the heart of the port.

For over ten years, Harbour Pride has been an integral part of the Hafengeburtstag and a visible meeting place for the LGBTQ+ community. In 2026, this tradition will be consistently continued: under the leitmotif "Queer culture meets urban street art", an open, inclusive meeting space will be created that combines community, St. Pauli and harbor flair in a new way.

Urban design, maritime soul and a colorful program

The redesigned area transforms the fish market into a lively Pride area with street art elements, colorful Pride accents and maritime details. Urban lighting concepts and modern decorations create a clear visual identity that deliberately sets itself apart from the classic folk festival character - and yet blends harmoniously into the surroundings of the Hafengeburtstag. The central element is an 8 × 6 meter stage, which offers space for street art, artistry, dance and family activities during the day and transforms into an energetic Pride stage in the evening. Around 500 seats and lounge areas invite you to linger.

As always, we offer a stage for the queer community: drag shows, live acts, community DJs and interactive formats such as the Harbour Pride Race bring the Pride spirit to life. A special highlight is the presentation of the CSD 2026 campaign by Hamburg Pride e.V. under the motto:

"Solidary queer. Taking a stand - for a future without fear."

Sunday deliberately ends on a quieter note - with live music, well-known pop hits and a family finale to the harbor birthday parade.
