QUEERHISTORYMONTH

QueerHistoryMonth will take place in Hamburg from May 1 to 31, 2026(www.queerhistoryhamburg.de). Various events as part of the festival will bring the history(ies) of the queer community in Hamburg to life. Everyone is welcome - kings, queers, queens, allies, friends, families (of choice) and everyone in between and beyond!

Audio Video Walk to graves of Flinta people at the Ohlsdorf cemetery

Discover a special tour of Ohlsdorf Cemetery with this app: an audio-video walk takes you to selected graves of FLINTA* people and makes their stories visible and audible.

Download the app and let the multimedia guide you through the cemetery - with exciting insights into their lives, work and memories. Discover biographies, struggles and life paths that have remained invisible for too long.

The app can be downloaded free of charge and without registration. You will need your own smartphone or tablet and headphones for the AudioVideowalk. The offer is not completely barrier-free, as the Ohlsdorf cemetery is only partially accessible and the tour is exclusively app-based. The use of headphones is required.
