From April 17 to July 31, 2026 , the Alexander and Renata Camaro Foundation is showing the exhibition HEINZ TRÖKES - AUGENREISEN at Camaro Haus.
The focus is on Heinz Trökes (1913-1997) as a painter, traveler, networker and co-founder of Galerie Gerd Rosen, which became an important place for a new artistic beginning in Berlin after 1945.
Over the course of five decades, Trökes traveled to more than 40 countries on six continents. The exhibition shows how these experiences were incorporated into his art - not as documentary images, but as independent, poetic pictorial worlds.
