Jan Jan Sedgwick. Mr. Sedgwick. Or rather Mr. Jan? That's what children called him during his time as an adventure teacher.

Mr. Jan - who prefers to be called by his first name - liked this name and used it in his musical work.

Mr. Jan's music can be described as: many genres, many feelings.

From the tenderness of singer-songwriter pop, the relaxed nature of reggae and the exuberance of hip-hop, Mr. Jan develops detailed compositions and polyphonic melodies. He creates musical landscapes for equally inviting, thoughtful and empowering themes that most families know both from everyday life and from conversations about the big questions in life. The broad field of emotions is given a special place here.

A Herr Jan concert is a colorful adventure for the whole family.

Good, handmade music usually gets even better on stage - this also applies to Herr Jan's songs and so he never misses an opportunity to play his songs live at festivals, open airs or clubs with his trio to quintet Superband, where he raps, sings and talks about life between stage piano, kazoo and guitar.

"With my Superband, we take the audience on an adventure and create an atmosphere that is good for you and really fun. My concerts are real and guaranteed without playback, because everyone has a right to good live music."

His songs are played up and down on children's radio, he can be seen time and again on the KiKa TV channel, was chosen as the jury winner of the German Children's Song Prize 2018 and 2019 and received the first Audience Award from the renowned Christiane Weber Foundation. With this tailwind and new songs in his luggage, he is traveling across Germany.

The concert is unseated. (However, there are seats in the stands for early parent birds)
