Hænsen is slowly but surely making a name for himself on the music scene as a German rap artist. Growing up in the small town of Pattensen among wild chickens and stray dogs, his youth was characterized by relaxed days at the quarry pond, banging with the boys and the odd club - real village life.

What could be better suited to this life than a good tune?

It was precisely this enthusiasm that led the now 25-year-old to start making music with his friends almost five years ago. With plenty of time to try things out and experiment, Hænsen found his own sound. His melancholy, dreamy voice, together with melodic rap elements, finds its home in indie pop - and sounds good to boot.

In 2022, Hænsen attended the Hamburg School of Music and learned to produce music himself in order to understand what was actually behind it all. This was followed by tracks such as "Kurze Pause" and "Verliebt", which enjoyed their first streaming successes. Today, Hænsen represents a new generation of German rap artists who combine emotion and attitude without being pigeonholed. Between village romance, big city influences and personal reflection, a sound is created that is both approachable and contemporary. With more releases in the pipeline and a growing fanbase, one thing remains clear: Hænsen is here to stay - quiet in appearance but loud in effect.
