He is currently Mexico's superstar: 25-year-old Humbe has been shaking up the Spanish-speaking music world for years with his R&B-Latin pop fusion. This summer he is coming to Berlin and Cologne with his "DUEÑO DEL CIELO TOUR".
Humberto Rodríguez Terrazas was born in the city of Monterrey in 2000. As a young boy, he learned to play the piano from his father and taught himself the guitar and ukulele. While still a teenager, he caused quite a stir with his debut album "Sonámbulo" in 2017 and the follow-up "Entropía" (2021) earned him a nomination for Best New Artist at the Latin Grammy Awards. But Humbe did not rest on his laurels: That same year, he released his third album "Aurora" and played his first tour in Latin America.
The three subsequent LPs form a conceptual trilogy: after describing a utopia with nature as the essence of all life on "Escencia" (2023), this is extinguished by a meteorite on "Armagedón" (2024). The last part, "Dueño del Cielo", deals with the moment after the catastrophe. Since everything has been destroyed, you can only look up and become the titular master of the sky - a vulnerable, poetic finale about the power of a new beginning. After the R&B-influenced predecessors, Humbe showed his introspective, sentimental side in these three works, creating dramatic anthems - and proving in more ways than one that not even the sky is the limit for him with the million-selling albums.
Humbe's live shows are less concerts and more events that celebrate modern Latin American music in a lively way. And at their center is Humbe, whose infectious energy and emotional approachability enchants every audience. As part of his "DUEÑO DEL CIELO TOUR", he is coming to Europe for the first time this summer after two completely sold-out tours across South America - with two stops in Germany.
