Sérgio travels to Guinea-Bissau to work as an environmental engineer on a road construction project. There he meets Diára and Gui from the queer community. While he experiences the condescending behavior of his European colleagues, the two become his only support. A fragile relationship develops - but is Sérgio just looking for closeness in a foreign place or does he manage to reflect on his role and meet them as equals?

A film that examines the relationship between Europe and Africa and the ambivalent distribution of roles in development cooperation.
