IANU

In the organizer's words:

IANU is an electro-acoustic music project from Berlin. Synthetic sounds & field recordings merge with organ, piano & clarinet to form an organic unity that ranges from ambient to melodic techno. They always interact with the space - the listeners, the acoustics and the atmosphere. Each set is created live with the place where they perform.

Behind IANU are two young artists who have found each other in their shared passion for improvised electronic and acoustic music. Their connection is reflected in an intuitive interplay that playfully and experimentally explores new worlds.

Whether in churches, in clubs or at festivals - IANU create live experiences that dissolve the boundaries between concert and sound installation and invite the audience to let go and surrender to the music.
