French House made in Iceland? Inspector Spacetime on tour in October!

They come from Reykjavík, sing mostly in Icelandic and sound as if they were wandering through Parisian nightclubs in the late 90s, sipping champagne and producing songs with Daft Punk and co.

But who knows: maybe that's actually the case and Inspector Spacetime have somehow managed to outwit the space-time continuum in order to undertake creative time travel every now and then.

The trio see themselves in the tradition of Daft Punk, but also cite The Prodigy, Charli XCX and the great, dazzling synth-pop classics of the 80s as audible influences.

Since the release of their debut in 2020, Inspector Spacetime have won many fans, especially with their rousing live shows.

Songs like "Dansa og bánsa" or "Smástaður" are so much fun live that you hardly want to or can stand still. With the current singles "Party At My House" and "Catch Planes" in English, word of their infectious dance music is likely to spread even further.

So it's fitting that they will finally be touring Germany in October.
