'HEDWIG JANKOS D I A L E C T ' is the latest project by Hamburg-based saxophonist and composer
saxophonist and composer Hedwig Janko. With her quintet, an up-and-coming young
up-and-coming ensemble on the Hamburg jazz scene, she combines free improvisations with the lyrical
lyrical melodies of her own compositions. In doing so, the ensemble utilizes the full
spectrum of sound, producing both intense, dense passages and moments of delicate transparency.
