The Big Band Liechtenstein, founded in 1983 by Benno Marxer, has developed from a student formation into an internationally recognized jazz ensemble. With numerous recordings and collaborations with renowned artists such as Peter Herbolzheimer and Bob Mintzer, the band has performed at events such as the Montreux Jazz Festival and toured worldwide. For over 25 years, they have maintained a close musical partnership with Australian multi-instrumentalist James Morrison, culminating in a tour of Australia in 2025. Their performances together are characterized by energy, virtuosity and captivating stage presence, making every concert an unforgettable experience.
