bittersweet release concert

KiTZ moves between pop and experiment - from her solo approach she develops an "organic electronic experience": a lively interplay of structure, feeling and presence. Her shows weave voice, sampler and effects into an electronic experience that is created entirely without a laptop. Minimalist patterns meet deep bass landscapes, billowing synthesizer pads and texture-rich samples.
Their concerts do not follow a fixed pattern - each time a different format is created. At the last release concert, for example, the theater became a gala, with musical guests, a presenter and a reference to a music television show from the 70s.
On October 15, the project will now open up for the first time with a band line-up - raw, direct, back in the club. Rhythm becomes more physical, songs more open, some things only emerge in the moment. Space is left for improvisation, for the music to develop in front of the audience.
The focus is also on pieces from their new album, which will be performed live for the first time in this expanded line-up. Familiar material is re-read - further, more intensively, in motion. Live visuals accompany the performance and expand the sound space into a dense, organic overall form. The result is a concert that can be experienced less as a finished product than as a process - an evening between experiment, state and music that only takes place once in this form.
