Welcome to the cultural breakfast at FFT Düsseldorf. This free offer is aimed at anyone who would like to take a look behind the scenes of independent theater and talk about it with others! Every 2nd Friday of the month, we invite you to meet artists and other guests, current topics and new plays in our foyer.
The FFT is a place for independent theater in the new Düsseldorf cultural center KAP1. You can see dance, theater or performances on our stages. Our spacious foyer invites you to come together. Together with our neighbors from the Central Library and the Kulturliste Düsseldorf e.V., we offer a meeting place for people interested in theater and all those who would like to become one. Over a cup of coffee and a pastry, you will get an insight into our program. You will get to know the artists who work at the theater and learn details about the plays that will soon be performed on our stages.
At every cultural breakfast , you have the opportunity to find out more about the Kulturliste Düsseldorf and register on site.
Parents with children are always welcome at the FFT! The cultural breakfast offers a relaxed setting in which you can get a taste of culture with your children.
March 13, 11 a.m. - with kainkollektiv
For kainkollektiv, care is an artistic, political and social practice. As part of an international research network, the group invites you to an artistic conference at the FFT.
April 17, 11 a.m. - with Franziska Werner / Impulse Festival
For more than 30 years, the Impulse Festival has been one of the most important festivals for the independent theater scene in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Impulse 2026 will take place from June 3 - 21 and will open in Düsseldorf. Artistic director Franziska Werner presents her program.
May 8, 11 a.m. - with Daniel Ernesto Müller
Every child knows moments of change. They remain vivid memories for a long time. The dancer and choreographer Daniel Ernesto Müller has dedicated his new piece "Alles Anders" to the various transitions in a person's life. He provides insights into this piece for everyone aged five and up.
Special guest: the new podcast "Das Gerresheim" introduces itself.
