A preview of the performance that gives an insight into the first phase of the development process and traces the work in its formative stage before the premiere (35 minutes).
Directed and choreographed by Willie Stark, this work is a physical exploration of the concept of resistance to erasure, silencing and control.

Bodies reclaiming their space and their voice in a world that often denies them both. Bodies in motion demand to be seen, heard and felt. By translating this urgency into choreography, the piece becomes an act of remembrance, a reminder that social change begins in the body, in movement, in relationships. In today's social and political climate - characterized by increasing inequality, racism and climate anxiety - this work asks how we respond as individuals and communities when systems fail to protect us, when the history of oppression repeats itself in new forms. Drawing parallels between historical struggles and the present, the work positions dance as a mirror that reveals the ongoing need for solidarity, empathy and radical care.

Willie Stark is a dancer, choreographer, director of the Stark Company and curator who combines urban and contemporary dance techniques with transdisciplinary approaches. In recent years she has developed her own productions: Exotiques - nominated for the Cologne Dance Theater Prize 2025, Chapt(her)s, Wombs of Revolution, Louves, LBDM.

Laura Schönlau is a dancer and choreographer. Her work operates at the interface of rhythm and fluidity, vulnerability and power. As part of the Tales Festival, she presented her latest solo piece "UNFOLDING" for the second time at the FFT Düsseldorf. Her most recent other choreographic works include "Why so noisy?" as part of the AIC X anniversary and "Swish swish".
