Lilly Wood and The Prick

If you think of the French pop duo Lilly Wood and The Prick, it will only take a few seconds to hear the soothing sounds of the mega-hit "Prayer in C". The song, which is included on the 2010 debut album "Invincible Friends" by French-Israeli singer Nili Hadida and guitarist Benjamin Cotto, was originally a peaceful folk splendor carried by flute melodies. The version that is best known today, however, is really moving forward - thanks to the beat by Robin Schulz, who gave the song an urban dance vibe four years after its release. The track has collected over a billion streams to date.

In contrast to "Prayer In C", Lilly Wood and The Prick presented a rougher, guitar-driven sound on the rest of their debut album, which is infused with the soulful voice of Nili Hadida. Their second album "The Fight" (2012) was followed four years ago by "Most Anything", the folk-pop duo's third album, whose sound sounds like the soundtrack to a coming-of-age series just waiting to be filmed. Now Lilly Wood and The Prick are opening a new chapter with the recently released album "Christina", which will be revealed in full for the first time at their upcoming concerts.
