Anna is a successful advertising manager and knows only too well how to create images of a happy life. A harmonious family is a must. But she has never had one herself. Then she comes across an ad by chance: "I could be the mother you've always dreamed of." Not a bad idea, she thinks, because after all, she can afford it. She has very clear ideas about the new connection - and then everything turns out completely differently than planned.

The play MADRE® examines how people set out on their own and look for a family - away from family relationships. After all, you can choose your true family, our chosen family! At the same time, it is also a play about the unexpected effects of capitalist logic, the business of love and the invention of new formulas for personal relationships.
