Fake news, alternative facts, AI-generated video fakes - the list goes on and on. General trust in various forms of media is declining - not least because of such phenomena. Disinformation is widespread and highly topical, but it is certainly not a new issue. In the history of music, too, there have been a few composers who have fallen for one hoax or another. The second RundfunkchorLounge of the season is dedicated to this music.

The Rundfunkchor Berlin under the direction of Gijs Leenaars welcomes you to the atmospheric ambience of Heimathafen Neukölln. The topic of fake news in the past and present will be discussed in detail in the accompanying expert talks. After the musical and thematic program points, you can end the evening at the Heimathafen bar with cozy lounge music.
