Marcoca: colorful, hypnotic sounds between surf, jazz, funk and psychedelia - held together by a charming DIY production.

Marcoca is a psychedelic five-piece indie quintet from Germany, born out of instinct, curiosity and the friction of different musical worlds. What began as a loose constellation of individual tastes gradually formed into a sound that is both nostalgic and strangely alien, drenched in reverb, groove-driven and hovering somewhere between clarity and illusion.

After establishing their sonic universe with Silent Struggles and Cosmic Blunder, Marcoca took a decisive step forward with their third album Homage to Delusion (2025). The album solidified their musical identity with hypnotic lap steel guitars, dreamy Rhodes pads and songs that invite you to let go and drift between memory and imagination.

With their latest EP Soliloquy (2026), they consistently continue on this path. Between spot-on songwriting and unbridled experimentation, they combine surf, jazz, funk and psychedelia to create colorful, intimate and expansive experiences.

Their first European tour in 2025 transformed this language into a shared experience and showed the band at their most vibrant: songs were stretched, structures dissolved and moments allowed to unfold naturally.

Marcoca are not about arriving at a particular place. Instead, they keep moving, always searching for new sounds and open to the unknown.
