MARION RAW (MEX) // Bolero Garage

In the organizer's words:

Marion Raw was born in Mexico City and grew up between Mexico, the USA and the UK. Her nomadic biography is reflected in a unique sound that she herself calls "Bolero Garage" - a mixture of folk, country blues, Spanish-language torch songs and punk attitude.

Her songs sound like excavated relics: raw, intimate and emotional. With influences ranging from Lou Reed to bolero icons like Chavela Vargas, Raw combines rockabilly grit, lo-fi folk and Latin American drama to create a sound world all of its own.

After initial success with her band Love La Femme, she launched her solo career and developed her unmistakable style. Her live shows are intense, nostalgic and full of energy.

With the new single "Castillos" and the upcoming EP Palabras en un Bar (2026), Marion Raw is one of the most exciting voices on the international indie scene.

Marion Raw performs as a duo with electric guitar/vocals and bass.
