The Pentagram String Band are a satanic bluegrass band from Kansas City, Missouri. They are skeptical of traditional bluegrass and play a mixture of gothic folk, punk and thrash metal. Their lyrics often revolve around cannibalism and murder and deal with themes such as Satan, misery and the joys of death. ... and they are great, nice people with a good sense of humor!

Gipsy Rufina, born and raised in the Apennines in central Italy, soon wanted to see what lay beyond the mountains.

Beyond the mountains lay Rome, where Gipsy played in various bands in the punk hardcore scene. Rome soon became too small.

Over the past 20 years, Gipsy Rufina has toured and played thousands of concerts in Europe, Eastern Europe, the USA and South America. In the process, he has ventured into places that few others have ventured. In the spirit of an outlaw troubador, he has toured constantly since 2005, choosing the lines of his narrative drawn from his life and travels - sometimes obscure, sometimes simple, yet profound, full of grace and far from cheesy songwriting.
