In complete darkness, two hundred orchestral musicians play Beethoven's Ninth - Freude schöner Götterfunken. A power cut just a few bars before the last movement! Problems like this are the least of the concerns of the only symphony orchestra in Central Africa. In the fifteen years of its existence, the musicians have survived two coups, several crises and a war. But there is the concentration on the music, the hope for a better future.
