Myles Sanko announces his seventh studio album "I See My Light" for September 2026 - a powerful and deeply personal continuation of his modern soul-jazz sound.

With roots in Ghana and France, Sanko is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary soul and jazz. He fuses warm soul grooves, jazzy sophistication and subtle hip-hop influences to create an emotionally dense, multi-layered sound. This cultural diversity lends his songs a special authenticity, rhythmic depth and emotional power.

Building on the introspective themes of its predecessor "Let It Unfold" (2024), "I See My Light" unfolds a clear, self-confident vision: healing, self-discovery and the power to recognize one's own light. In terms of sound, the album is even more mature and multi-faceted, characterized by organic arrangements, warm harmonies and the subtle rhythmic influences of his Ghanaian heritage, which blend seamlessly into modern soul and jazz structures.

The album is a further step on Sanko's path to artistic independence. "Let It Unfold" was the first time he took full creative responsibility for every element of the project, from writing, composing, arranging, recording, mixing and producing to distribution via his own label 213 Music. He is now continuing this approach to achieve his self-imposed goal of releasing 15 albums by the age of 60.

Myles Sanko started out singing and rapping in the clubs of his home town of Cambridge and was a true child of the streets. In 2013, he released his debut EP "Born In Black & White" on his own label 213 Music and attracted the attention of international record labels. This was followed by the albums "Forever Dreaming" (2014), "Just Being Me" (2016), "Memories of Love" (2021) and his first live album "Live at Philharmonie Luxembourg" (2022) on Légère.

Myles Sanko will celebrate his new album with an extensive tour, accompanied by a fantastic live band:
