"O löst mir das Rätsel des Lebens" Poesie in Wort und Ton mit Cora Chilcott und Hartmut Behrsing

Cora Chilcott presents romantic and contemporary poems by Heine, Eichendorff, Ringelnatz and others, set to music by Hartmut Behrsing.

Cora Chilcott studied acting at the Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen in Potsdam-Babelsberg. This was followed by vocal training with Stella Doufexis (Komische Oper Berlin) and a master class in chanson with Gisela May. She was an actress at the Berliner Ensemble from 2001 to 2014 and toured Germany and various European countries with her acting solos and musical programs.

Hartmut Behrsing, film composer for GDR television, can look back on many years as a solo trombonist at the Komische Oper, with the Jazz-Optimisten Berlin and the Dixieland Allstars Berlin and is considered one of the pioneers of old-time jazz in the GDR. He has also made a name for himself beyond the country's borders as a composer of chamber music and symphonic works and as director of the Jazz Collegium Berlin.
