OK.DANKE.TSCHÜSS have come to stay - and they are doing so emphatically. With their latest album "Knutschen & Boxen", the band catapulted themselves into the official album charts as an indie act with their own label EinhornRock Records and even left international competition behind. A success that is not based on calculation, but on attitude, energy and a clear artistic vision.

What began as a charmingly ironic project has long since become a permanent fixture in the German-speaking indie scene. OK.DANKE.TSCHÜSS combine catchy pop melodies with a punk attitude, danceable beats with clever, pointed lyrics. Between euphoria and melancholy, self-irony and social commentary, the result is a sound that is as entertaining as it is relevant.

Viral hits such as "Joel", "Zu laut in der Disko" or "Verrückt" are just a few examples of the broad repertoire of this formation. Their songs work as sing-along anthems as well as intimate snapshots of a generation caught between self-optimization, excessive demands and the great desire for closeness. OK.DANKE.TSCHÜSS reliably hit the nerve of the times with their lyrics without coming across as preachy. They observe precisely, formulate precisely - and yet always retain a wink.

Live, the band unleashes an energy that must be experienced. Sold-out headline shows across Germany and support shows for Alligatoah, among others, speak for themselves. Snowstorms, rollercoasters, dinosaurs: indie musician Juli Gilde writes songs that are tender and loud, colorful and baffling, lyrical or moody. With role models such as Phoebe Bridgers, Wir sind Helden and Adrianne Lenker, her music shimmers in a wide variety of colors and backdrops, but always goes straight to the heart and enchants listeners, for example with her recently released debut album "it's hard to be a blizzard".
