They are the Argentinian band of the moment: with their refreshing sound, Pacifica have played a key role in shaping the indie-sleaze revival in their home country and are now finally coming to Germany.

The two band members Inés Adam (vocals and guitar) and Martina Nintzel (bass) seem as if they have always played together. The two only met by chance on the internet in 2021 because they both had a fan page for The Strokes. They quickly realized that they lived close to each other in Buenos Aires and were soon making music together. With their loving, intimate covers of various indie rock bands, they quickly went viral on YouTube and gained their first fans.

But the two wanted more and worked on their own music at the same time. Just a few months later, they were playing sold-out club shows in New York and released their first EP with the mischievous title "Not a Cover Band". The energetic mix of power pop, indie rock and garage rock revival was also carried through to their debut album "Freak Scene". The uncompromising work effortlessly combines the punk attitude of the 90s with the coolness of the 2000s - and yet always sounds unmistakably modern, new and innovative.

After a sold-out tour of Japan in November 2025, Pacifica are finally coming to Germany with their second album "In Your Face" this spring for their first own shows and will play three concerts in Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne from the end of May.
