Philosophie für alle!

In the organizer's words:

The student initiative Öffentliche Philosophie Berlin is organizing the Philosophy Festival: "Philosophy for All!" from 24-26 April 2026. Students and professors will present and discuss their socially relevant research in front of a philosophical and public audience. The lectures and workshops are accessible and exciting. Everyone who is interested in interesting perspectives and discussions is welcome - no prior knowledge is necessary! Admission is free and you can come to one or more lectures/workshops. Registration is not required.

In the face of an increasingly polarizing culture of discourse and the rise of fake news and bullshitting, the aim of the initiative is to bring the value of good argumentation back into focus. Philosophy deals with many socially relevant topics at a high level, but these often remain in the academic ivory tower. The initiative therefore aims to communicate philosophical content and methods to the public.
