QUEERHISTORYMONTH

QueerHistoryMonth will take place in Hamburg from May 1 to 31, 2026(www.queerhistoryhamburg.de). Various events as part of the festival will bring the history(ies) of the queer community in Hamburg to life. Everyone is welcome - kings, queers, queens, allies, friends, families (of choice) and everyone in between and beyond!

The event

In a cozy atmosphere, we present highlights from over three years of queer book club and literary history. Discover favorite books, discuss with us and experience a lovingly contentious evening at QueerHistoryMonth - like BookTok, only offline and even more personal.

So that you finally know which book you should definitely read or at least give to your best friend, we'll take a look between the pages together. As always: four people, five opinions. As part of Queer History Month, we'll take a look back with you at everything queer authors and topics have to offer and present our personal highlights.

The evening will be cozy and lovingly contentious. Think of it like BookTok - only offline. Just the thing for bookworms and other rodents. Drop by the feminist sex store collective Fuck Yeah in the Gängeviertel!
